Superb opportunity to join an established manufacturing business based in North Kent, at a time of change and transition. The Finance Director is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join the team on a 3 month interim contract to help steer them through the changes and manage the small dedicated finance team. This role is office based 5 days a week, offers on site parking.

Reponsibility if the Interim Financial Controller Role:-

• To oversee the preparation of financial information, manage budgets and ensure accounting standards are met
• Audit processes, forecast financial outcomes and maintain internal controls
• Analyse large data sets and report on financial data
• Advanced Excel skills to manipulate data and financial modelling
• Budgeting and forecasting, analysing past data to predict future trends and risks, steering the business towards growth
• Detailed cashflow management and reporting
• Full monthly management accounts and commentary
• UK Tax, VAT and PAYE
• Costing, working with factory on budgets and detailed cost analysis
• Month end and balance sheet reconciliations

Requirements of the Interim Financial Controller Role:-

• Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA, with a strong background from Manufacturing
• Staff management
• Costing experience
• Financial modelling and data manipulation
• Advanced Excel
