Description

An exciting opportunity for a Practice Trained Accountant to join a successful and established independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in North Kent. They are seeking someone who can develop and grow the business, to advance their career to a senior position. 


Responsibilities of the Accountant role


  • Preparation and finalisation of limited company, sole trader, and partnership accounts
  • Preparation and finalisation of Management Accounts
  • Preparation and finalisation of personal tax computations and returns
  • Liaising with clients on financial and taxation matters
  • Assisting with VAT, Payroll & CIS when required
  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Produce Accounts for Charities, Sole Traders and Partnerships
  • Liaise with HMRC and other outside agents

Requirements of the Accountant role


  • Fully Qualified ACA or ACCA with two years minimum post-qualified experience working in an Accountancy Practice
  • First-rate systems skills, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, MS Excel
  • Highly organised with first-rate communication
