- Description
An innovative multinational business has created a new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join the team at a time of growth and development. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in the company offices in Maidstone the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:
- Overall responsibility for purchase and sales ledger, payroll and financial reviews.
- Purchase Ledger - process invoices daily, matching to PO's uploading to the system and correct nominal codes
- Process the monthly payment run
- Dealing with supplier queries and requesting copy invoices
- Reconcile and process expenses
- Sales Ledger - raise invoices and payment requests
- Credit control by phone and email
The ideal person will have a strong accounts background in purchase and sales ledger, with an understanding of payroll administration, first-rate systems skills and strong Excel. A team player with a can-do attitude, always keen to help in other areas to support the team.
