Amazing opportunity to join a retail group at a time of transformation for a period of 12 months. Manage, motivate and develop the finance team. Reporting to the CFO this role is 4 days in the office in Surrey and one day working from home.

Responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller Role:

• To manage, motivate and develop a dynamic highly skilled team
• Review and improve processes and procedures to streamline the month end close
• Review and improve balance sheet controls
• Cashflow management and control
• Project manage the implementation of a new ERP system across the group
• Year end statutory accounts, liaise with HMRC and resolve any queries
• VAT and corporate tax

Requirements of the Financial Controller Role:-

• Proven track record in managing and mentoring a team
• ERP systems implementation experience in a multi site group
• A qualified accountant with a minimum of 10 years PQE ideally from a multi site group
• Excellent communication skills
