Description

A national not-for-profit organisation based in Lambeth, South East London, is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Payable Officer to join them on a 21-hour-per-week basis, Tuesday to Thursday. This role is initially temporary, with a view to becoming permanent after six months, and offers hybrid working arrangements following probation. Reporting to the Assistant Accountant, duties include:


  • Ensuring that the day-to-day accounting records of MSSC on the Sun accounting system are maintained accurately
  •  Manage the purchase ledger, ensuring purchase invoices and all expenses have been properly authorised and coded
  • Set up new supplier/employee accounts in Sun every week
  • Process weekly payment runs on Sun, observing adequate Director approvals
  • Process international payments, refunds, and other Bankline-related transactions
  • Manage supplier accounts paid by DD, including invoice posting, cash posting, and allocation within the Sun system

The ideal candidate should have previous experience using the SUN Accounting system, coupled with first-rate MS Excel skills, and be happy working on a part-time basis.
