An Accounts Assistant is required to work in a busy environment for a friendly transportation business based in North Kent
Reporting to the Financial Controller duties will include
- Processing of purchase invoices and fortnightly payment runs
- Reconciliations of bank accounts and supplier statements
- Cash book payments and receipts
- Weekly credit control and production of management debtors report
- Issuing credit applications and solicitors letters
- Maintaining excellent customer relationships
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to show flexibility and use initiative when problem-solving. A competitive salary plus excellent benefits are available to the post holder. Following successful probation, the position is hybrid two days working from home. Working hours are 09.00 to 17.00 or 08.00 to 16.00. First-rate MS Excel skills are essential and exposure to Sage Line 200 is desirable.
