A proven service provider in Property Sector is offering a premium product within their sector. They are currently looking to hire a Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller is an integral role within the finance department. Working closely with the Finance team, the key function of this role is to analyse financial information and implement effective strategies to enhance overall business performance.

Based in Central London, they are looking for an experienced Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA) to manage the daily finance operational processes to support the business for sustained growth over the coming years and beyond. The focus is on creating a highly efficient, professional finance function. As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for all financial reporting for all 3 businesses as well as the 6 finance team members who will report into this role.

You will be required to do the following:

• Preparation of the finance pack & Management Accounts

• Variance analysis within month end, budget variances and margin analysis

• Managing a team of 6 (An Accounts Clerk, Credit Controller, 2 Management Accountants and 2 Assistant Accountants)

• Ability to get stuck into the details to find any inconsistencies and challenge processes

• Improve current processes and look for ways the team could be more efficient & automated

• Review of portfolio management and credit control processes

• Manage annual audit

• Year-end preparation and reconciliations.

• Payroll reconciliations
