New opportunity for an Accounts Payable/CIS Accounts Assistant to join the Accounts team of a professional contractor specialising in the refurbishment of commercial premises based in Central London.  The position is full-time & office-based. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to work independently as well as part of the team.  Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, duties and responsibilities follow:

Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable/CIS Accounts Assistant:

• Entering, costing, and paying supplier bills
• Managing the database of all suppliers and subcontractors
• Processing orders and raising payments to subcontractors, ensuring CIS deductions and VAT are processed correctly
• Preparing payment runs
• Support the team 

Requirements for the Accounts Payable/CIS Accounts Assistant:

• Proven experience working in a similar role in the construction sector, covering all aspects of Accounts Payable
• CIS Ledger
• VAT
