A successful and well-established business in the Construction Sector, based near Thurrock in Essex, is looking to hire a Bookkeeper to join them permanently.  This is a sole charge role reporting to the Directors of the company and is office-based.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Day-to-day transactions and reconciliations using Sage Line 50
• Processing accounts payable and receivables
• Credit control
• Cash flow reporting/forecasting
• Profit and loss reporting
• Assist project managers with work in progress
• Weekly CIS returns
• Monthly payroll preparation to an outsourced payroll bureau
• Liaising with the external firm of Accountants as required

Requirements:

• First-rate transactional skills
• Proven long-term experience in a similar sole charge role
• Strong reconciliation skills
• CIS returns
• Sage Line 50
• Cash flow reporting/forecasting
