Rare opportunity to join this highly successful global distribution business, working closely with the Head of Finance and overseeing the Credit Control function. 

Responsibility of the Credit Control Supervisor role:-

• Oversee, train and manage a team of 2 credit controllers
• Manage the debtors to ensure invoices are paid within agreed terms
• Onboard new clients, liaising with the sales team to set up terms and agree on any extended dates
• Credit vet all new clients and put in place credit limits
• Liaise with the Sales Manager over any problem accounts to agree on a strategy and negotiate a payment plan
• Bank reconciliations for the UK and Europe accounts on GBP and multi currency
• Create and maintain financial reports for senior management

Requirements of the Credit Control Supervisor role:-

• Strong proven track record in credit control
• Proven staff management skills
• Credit insurance exposure
