Are you an experienced and proactive Part-Time Bookkeeper looking to join a close-knit team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, 20 hours per week, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

This is an ideal position for someone looking for flexible, part-time hours while contributing to the smooth financial operations of a friendly and collaborative business. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting tasks using Xero. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare quarterly vat returns
• Monthly CIS returns
• Complete bank reconciliations 
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage financial analysis reports
• Liaise with external accountants
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Key Skills:

• AAT or ACCA Part-qualified with experience in a similar role 
• Must be Advanced at excel (pivot tables and financial analysis)
• Must have previous experience using Xero 
• Strong relationship management experience 
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to stakeholders
