A VAT Consultant is sought by a well-established Management Consultancy based in West Kent. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and have first-rate experience in VAT management. This role is pivotal in ensuring their compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities of the VAT Consultant

• Manage and oversee VAT-related processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Working with the wider team to achieve financial targets, prioritising work, balancing internal and external deadlines, and ‘getting the job done’
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients
• Provide mentorship to junior members of the team,
• Produce audits and reports to clients to mitigate their risk and ensure VAT compliance

Requirements of the VAT Consultant

• Qualified in VAT (ATT) with proven experience in the field
• Strong understanding of VAT legislation and compliance requirements
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
