- A tax boutique, specialising in tax investigations and dispute resolutions - acting for UK and international HNWIs has approached us with a new role. Their client base includes entrepreneurial clients, with domicile issues to their tax affairs. The team is led by 3 Partners/Directors with a wealth of experience gained from Top 4 firms and they advise on all areas of UK personal taxation as well as offshore structuring, trusts, transfer of assets abroad, property purchase/disposal and remittance planning.
They have recently been instructed on a number of significant Code of Practice 9 cases and have an immediate requirement for an experienced Senior Tax Investigations Manager. The right person will be familiar with a wide range of tax enquiries, comfortable leading client meetings as well as negotiating with HMRC; with extensive experience of managing tax investigations, preparing disclosure reports and familiar with HMRC disclosure campaigns. It is also essential that you have significant Code of Practice 9 experience, with a good understanding of offshore tax matters (residence, domicile, trusts etc).
This is a key hire for the firm and there are genuine opportunities existent to progress quickly to Associate Director Level. Salary alongside very strong benefits is negotiable from £45,000 to £75,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
