- A Finance Assistant is sought by this extremely well known British company, based in Central London, to cover a 14 month maternity break in their Accounts department.
Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager duties include maintaining supplier payments and supporting the administration of payroll payments function.
Key duties and responsibilities
Receipt, review and timely payment of all grant payments requested
Liaison with grant processing departments about the payment of grants
Updating MS Excel spreadsheets
Input and checking of payroll data
Match purchase invoices to orders
Code invoices to their respective accounts in finance system
Input invoices onto the accounting system
Deal with queries from suppliers and grantees
General filing and administration within the Finance team
Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 years experience as an Accounts Assistant, possess a reasonable level of MS Excel and be keen to be part of a team. You will be working 35 hours a week Monday to Friday, with flexitime to pick a starting and finishing time to suit you with the added benefit of 26 days holiday with a generous pension scheme for the duration of the contract.
