Description

Due to expansion, our client, a construction business based near Epping in Essex, is seeking an experienced Sole Charge Bookkeeper with first-rate exposure to Sage Line 50 and good MS Excel skills. The role is offered permanently and is office-based.   Reporting to the Managing Director, duties and responsibilities include:-


  • All aspects of sales & purchase ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Cashbooks / Cash flow
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing payroll to an outsourced bureau using MS Excel
  • Investigating and resolving client and supplier queries

Prospective candidates must have proven experience in a similar role with a strong focus on Cash flow and Credit Control.  In-depth knowledge of  Sage Line 50 is essential, coupled with good MS Excel skills.   First-rate communication skills to liaise with colleagues and suppliers are a prerequisite.  You will be working in a small and friendly team where flexibility and a friendly outlook are valued.  Benefits include a 35hr working week, 25 days' holiday and on-site parking.
