A successful franchise business operating two car repair body shops, with a staff of 50 across two sites in South London and Sussex, is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join them at their main office in South London.
This is a dynamic role where you will act as the financial linchpin supporting both sites, ensuring financial accuracy and seamless communication across the business.

Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper Role:

• Manage daily bookkeeping (AP/AR, bank reconciliations, data entry).
• Support payroll processing and expenses for the team
• Liaise between our two sites to keep financial records perfectly aligned
• Assist with monthly reporting and year-end audit preparation
• Respond to vendor enquiries and maintain positive supplier relationships

Qualifications & Skills of the Bookkeeper Role:

• AAT level 3 or equivalent
• A proven background as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounts role
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Sage and Xero
• A good understanding of the principles of double-entry bookkeeping
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, plus a keen eye for detail
• Ideally, Motor Trade experience, but not essential
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills.
