Description

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with extensive experience as a Finance Director within a large, diverse organisation.  A natural leader who can oversee all financial functions, ensure compliance with reporting obligations, and foster a motivated, high-performing finance team that acts as a true business partner.


You will be responsible for areas such as financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, cost control, debt management, capital expenditure, equity variations, re-financing, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Moreover, your organisational skills, commercial insight, and ability to communicate effectively will be key in securing internal and external support for strategic initiatives.


They are looking for someone self-assured,  with first-class communication skills, capable of earning the trust and respect of senior colleagues, lenders, and stakeholders alike. Your commercial expertise will ensure the organisation pursues new business opportunities while maintaining long-term financial stability. Additionally, your experience in developing new service models and negotiating robust, risk-assessed deals with partners will be highly valuable.


Candidate requirements include:


  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with a minimum of 10 years PQE 
  • Strong background in financial modelling
  • Proven commercial acumen and success in driving innovation
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and motivate teams
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
