An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well established independent Accountancy Practice in North Kent. They are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee a small department and ensure that monthly and fortnightly payrolls are processed and paid to deadline. Reporting to the Practice Manager supervision duties will include motivating, developing, and appraising the team as well as monitoring payroll procedure and policies, resolving queries and reporting into senior management. The ideal candidate must have proven experience working for a payroll bureau, and strong interpersonal / communication skills. This is a hands-on position and the successful candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of SSP, SMP, NI and have full year end return experience.
